Freshwater Pearl Necklace - Sterling Silver

A genuine single Freshwater Pearl on a .925 Sterling Silver chain. (We make these in all three materials) Length is adjustable between 17"-19" but if you'd like a longer length, just let me know, we can work something out.

Classic, elegant, + beautiful, pearls are symbolic of wisdom. Did you know that pearls are made through a process during which a tiny irritant/food particle/sandstone finds its way into an oyster shell, and it becomes so irritating to the oyster that it works on the stone, and eventually that sandstone becomes a beautiful, shiny pearl. The pearl is a beautiful, single entity, formed out of hurt, through suffering in the heart of the oyster. It's not an immediate action, but over time, layer by later, growth happens. What an incredibly edifying process. Beauty from ashes. Pearls from sand. Character from hardship.

Romans 5:3-5. says "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us." Most days I feel like I'm not handling the current life situation very well, but I am fully assured that God has not left us, and will use this refining time for good, for His glory. Just like pearls are formed in suffering, God can use this for our growth, if we allow Him to. Our pain will not be wasted. May these stressful times produce Pearls of wisdom in our life.
